Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book an appointment? Send an email with your contact information to tatujeff@gmail.com Or use this Contact Form Link. After we have spoken and I have accepted the tattoo project, you will need to secure your pending appointment(s) with a $150 deposit. Once I have received your deposit, we will schedule your appointment(s). You can expect several additional appointments for larger projects. Larger projects that require multiple sessions must be booked in appropriately spaced dates. I schedule this way to give enough time for healing and to ensure that the piece is finished in a reasonable amount of time. This method is in the best interest of both the client and myself. If a project is dragged out for too long between sessions, you are risking the loss of my ambition for the piece.
How do deposits work? Deposits are nonrefundable. This ensures that the client is as dedicated to completing the piece as I am. A $150 deposit is required to secure your appointment(s). This is not $150 per appointment. The $150 deposit will be deducted from price of your final session. The $150 will be forfeit if you: Miss your appointment. Reschedule 3 consecutive appointments. Cancel without giving at least 7 days notice.
How do I cancel my appointment? Call: 860-788-3125 If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment you must call the shop to do so. This is the only way to cancel or reschedule. You cannot cancel or reschedule through email or any form of social media.
How much will my tattoo cost? My rate is $125-$175 an hour, depending on the subject matter. I do not give estimates or quotes, as every piece I do is different in terms of concept, size, location, and complexity. Make sure you budget accordingly.
How long will my tattoo take? There are too many variables to definitively say how long it will take. Every piece is different in terms of size, location, and complexity. A clients budget, pain tolerance, and flexibility of schedule can all factor into how long a tattoo can take as well. For larger, multiple session tattoos, you will need to wait a minimum of one month in between appointments to let your tattoo fully heal before working on it again.
How should I prepare for my tattoo? Please arrive to your appointment clean* and well rested. We encourage you to have something to eat before you arrive at the tattoo shop. You are allowed to bring snacks and beverages in sealable containers. For longer sessions, we suggest packing a lunch. Wear clean, loose fitting clothing that will not interfere with the area you are getting tattooed. Your skin must be free of abrasions, sun damage, acne and other skin conditions. DO NOT put on lotion or numbing cream prior to the tattoo. Consult your physician if you have any medical conditions or allergies that could prevent you from getting a tattoo. * poor hygiene or excessive foreign bodies such as dirt, grass, paint, animal hair etc. on your body/clothing is not acceptable. Once again NO NUMBING CREAM! If you show up with numbing cream on you will not get tattooed that day and you will lose your deposit.
Who can I bring with me to my appointments? I recommend you come alone for longer sessions, however, you can bring one friend or family member to your appointment. Your guest is responsible for conducting themselves in a respectful manner, so as not to distract myself or the other artists. If the guest is a distraction they will be asked to stay in the lobby or asked to leave the establishment. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted inside of the tattoo shop. We love animals, but they aren’t allowed either.
Can I sign for a minor? NO. I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. A valid ID such as a drivers license, passport or state appointed photo ID must be shown at the time of scheduling.
